What IP address do I use to Activate a Serial Number for the LFConnector?

The proper IP address to use depends on whether you are interfacing with the LFConnector on an external eCopy ScanStation OP device, or embedded within the MFP itself.

  1. If the LFConnector is running on an eCopy ScanStation OP PC, then use the IP address of that PC.
  2. If the LFConnector is running on an eCopy ShareScan OP Manager, and the device is an embedded MFP such as Canon's MEAP or Ricoh Embedded, then use the IP address of the MFP itself.
