I'm getting the message "The licensing manager was not properly initialized" after scanning documents on Windows Server 2012. What can I do?

The LFConnector requires the .NET Framework v3.5 in order to properly function.  By default this may not be automatically enabled on newer servers for backwards compatibility.   Using the "Add Roles and Features Wizard", please make sure ".NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)" has been "enabled" on the platform by placing a check mark in the box
