While trying to license my product I received "An unknown error has occurred. Please contact technical support." message. What can I do?

One common cause of this problem is a time mismatch between the SSOP Manager computer and the Software Connections' licensing website. Please ensure the following on that PC are all correct for your location.
- local PC time
- local PC date
- local PC time zone
